The Martin OM 28E was manufactured in the USA. The body of the Martin OM-28 acoustic guitar is made of solid tonewoods. The top was made of solid Sitka spruce and back/sides of solid East Indian rosewood. The top construction consists of a Scalloped-X bracing. The top wood was decorated with a Herringbone binding and the soundhole with a Black/White inlay.
The neck of the Martin OM-28 features a Modified Low Oval profile. The nut and bridge inlay were made of bone. For electronic pickup, the Martin OM-28E was equipped with an L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup system.
